چکیده

After water, concrete was the material for construction that is used on largest scale planet, and as an outcome of technological development, concrete's qualities have evolved over time. A study carried out to investigate potential use mineral admixture a partial replacement in high performance concrete. Since they can significantly improve strength durability properties when compared regular Portland cement supplemental cementations materials (SCM) like Alccofine (AF) ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) all been replacements large past three decades. As result, HPC be produced using lower water powder ratios by including other cementitious admixtures. In this project phase, employed varied weight substitute produce M40 grade 7, 14, 28 days compressive (CS) well split tensile (STS) percentages AF 5%, 7.5% & 10% also GGBFS are 10%, 12.5 % 15% respectively work.

Evaluation of Autogenous Shrinkage in High-Performance Concrete

Recent tendencies in concrete technology have been towards to high- performance concrete with a low water-cement ratio. However, high performance concretes have some problems. One of the problems is early-age cracking due to autogenous shrinkage. This study presents the results of an experimental investigation carried out to evaluate the autogenous shrinkage of high-strength concrete. Accordi...

Performance of High-strength Concrete Made with Recycled Ceramic Aggregates

Recent scientific concerns to achieve sustainability in construction have suggested the implementation of using recycled aggregate in concrete because it has the potential to reduce the demand for extraction of natural raw materials and decrease the volume of wastes landfilled. In this respect, this study aims to investigate the suitability of using ceramic tile (CT) and ceramic sanitary (CS) w...

Structural Behaviour of Concrete Energy Piles in Thermal Loadings

The thermo-mechanical behaviour of concrete energy pile foundations with different single and double U-tube shapes incorporated was analysed using the Comsol Multi-physics package. For the analysis, a 3D numerical model in real scale of the concrete pile and surrounding soil was simulated regarding actual operation of ground heat exchangers (GHE) and the surrounding ambient temperature. Based o...
